Maria Hartnett. I have nine years experience working as a psychotherapist in private practice and seven years in Pieta House. My experience in Pieta House has brought me in contact with people struggling with suicidal ideation, suicidal intent or self harm. My experience in private practice has brought me in contact with people who suffer with issues from anxiety, depression, low self esteem and people who have lived through trauma. I provide a warm safe space for clients to open up and talk about issues that could never be shared before this.   

I also work with a bereavement support service called Tuaras Le Cheile where I provide support to people who have recently become bereaved due to either suicide or natural causes.

I am a fully accredited  member of the IACP which is the largest association in Ireland of counsellors and psychotherapists. I have ongoing supervision in order to ensure that I am maintaining a professional level of work.
